Wizard101 Part 1

Looking for a nice way to meet your friends outside of school? Well I'll introduce you to Wizard101, the number one MMO of the decade. It does require register. You can chat with friends and meet some new friends of your own. Did I mention that it is totally free! You may travel through Wizard City with only little exceptions. But the rest of the spiral is waiting for you..... The rest of the game requires paid membership or must be paid by crowns (which you buy).
It starts you off by Merle Ambrose, the head wizard who founded Wizard City and the oldest living tree, Bartleby. He turns to the to a book that determines which type of wizard you are. It depends on on ehat the answers you pick on, but if you want a certain type, than just skip it and choose either:
Ice
Teacher: Lydia Greyrose is the ice magic teacher. She is very nice, has a cheerful and sweet attitude, but can also be very stern.
Type: Elemental
Having the weakest power of the elemental type schools, ice magic is all about persistence, you need to keep on attacking to win it all. Ice magic is a delicate kind of magic, easy to fail, but onced mastered, it can be very powerful in moving the fragile ice against your enemy. Ice users are also known as Thaumaturges. They go by being slow and steady and always having their guard up. An ice school student is trained to survive in battle. Ice wizards have the highest natural health and very good defenses. But again, their attack power needs to be worked on.

Death
Teacher: Dworgyn, the death teacher has been a servant his whole life, he has a hunched back and also holds a lamp. He was the assistance of the real death teacher, Malistaire (we'll get to him later...).  He is the advanced death teacher, you'll start off with a regular death wizard teaching you death spells.
Type: Spirit
Death wizards, or necromancers are known for high intelligence or courage, or just for their bad reputation. Their attacks are the third most powerful right behind storm and fire. The teachers train necromancers to steal, support, survive and resurrect. Death students belong in a high level school, simply because most of their spells take multiple steps on showing it's true power. They cheat as they battle by healing themselves as they attack. They cast spells that attack the enemy and give you half the health you have taken from that player or enemy. Necromancy is an easy school to learn, it's just very hard to master.

Balance
Teacher: Just like the Death school, there are two major balance teachers. Alzhared who hales from Krokotopia, who teaches high level balance and then there's Arthur Wethersfield who teaches the basics about the school.
Type: The balance school inherits both spirit schools (death, life and myth) and elemental schools (fire, ice, storm).
Balance type wizards are mischief makers while in battle while making themselves stronger and also weakening the foe for various amounts. The balance type school has the ability to learn the other schools successfully. The art of balance is harmony, finding the pieces from all the schools forming into tough wizards...

Life
Teacher: Moolindo Wu is a very bright, calm, cheerful and positive person (well cow). She indeed loves flowers and hales from Mooshu. She tries to look for the brightness inside of you. She also tries to remain peaceful, caring and loving.
Type: Spirit
Life students, known as Theurgists heal others in battle. They also learn a few attacks but that's their main goal. They usually are into songs or delightful melodies. They try to stay alive and healthy in a battle, giving health to others in their time of need. You may seem sort of weak at first, but if you keep on healing your allies, they'll always have your back.

Storm
Teacher: Professor Balestrom is a jumpy, peppy, overly excited kind of wizard (wait.... frog). He's always up for a good laugh and really tries to express his feelings with being loud. He is very strong and likes to prove it.
Type: Elemental
Storm wizards have the most power to hurt enemies. Their objective is to defeat the enemy quick before they are defeated due to the lack of defense and health! They have their pros and cons. Due to their incredibly high power, they are very limited. You have to be very precise on your battle strategy or you're going down! You need to have lots of agile and smarts. You also may not get the hit. Their attacks have very very very weak accuracy. So be careful and be strong!

Fire
Teacher: Dalia Falmea is a very suave teacher. Very smooth, and nice towards her students She is also called "The Fire Lady" occasionally. She is also very serious about the problems in the spiral and can become a tough girl to beat.
Type: Elemental
Fire is passion, the bright, burning flame of raw emotion the sweeps the enemies. Fire wizards, have high potential, great passion, being enthusiastic! But also are quick to anger, and consumed by whatever drives them at that moment. Fire wizards like to use damaging attacks that hurt enemies over time, turn by turn. They like to make enemies beg for mercy and driven to win.

Myth
Teacher: Cyrus Drake, brother of Malistaire, can be very stern. He gives students an attitude and he will be very annoyed with people most of the time. When you'll first meet him, you will see that he doesn't believe that you can learn the amazing myth type of magic. He says you can "attempt" to try to learn.... I would say that he's the complete opposite of Moolinda Wu, but don't let that fool you, maybe, just maybe, you could see a little light in him.
Type: Spirit
Myth wizards like to cast minions to help them. They believe that they need all the help they can get, but they thought wrong, they are very powerful! They just cast extra help, sometimes for health, distractions, etc. You can strengthen and make defenses for them. They really count on minions, but are pretty strong by themselves.

ENEMY:
Malistaire
Malistaire is the former death teacher of the spiral. But alas, he was corrupted and wanted to rule the whole entire spiral! He's Cryus's brother (not a surprise), and are sort of against each other. Your job is to try to stop him from corrupting the rest of the spiral, you might not know what's next but remember to always have some other wizards by your side!

Remember to try out.....

Truth or Dare?

Welcome to the Asian Squad! Where today we talk about... Truth or Dare?, a game made for a propose to hopefully humiliate the other players.

RULES:
Player 1 starts with saying the phrase, Truth Or Dare? Then Player 2 Then either picks truth or dare. You have to be truthful if you pick truth and you have to be wiling to preform the task that Player 1 gives you if you pick dare. A player cannot choose truth more than twice in a row, and dares cannot be repeated. Then the cycle goes on and on.....

DARE: If the player chooses "dare", then the first player sets them on a task, often an embarrassing or dangerous one, which player 2 must perform.

TRUTH: If the player chooses "truth", then the first player poses a question, usually an embarrassing one, which the second player must answer truthfully.

ENJOY PLAYING:

Games- CANDYLAND!

Today is All About GAMES!
Not one game, but all the games! For this marking period, I am switching gears from one game, to game by game review, by me! To see which games are must haves and which ones can stay at Gamestop or Walmart, etc. Let me explain!
Every blog post is about a game, video or just a simple board game. Then, I'll sort of go through the game concept, the pricing, what type of game it is and whether is fun or not. Well, I'm starting fresh right now!:

Candyland
In this very fun game made for 3+ has an outstanding background. It might seem boring for you, but in the 3 year old's head, it's magical! You have been invited to the Kings castle but it's a long way to get there. You have to go through various treats such as ice cream, chocolate and much more. You embark on a delicious adventure that is sure to give you the time of your life! In Walmart, well the Walmert near me, it's priced at about $5. Very decent price. I would say to get it if you have a little one at home who wants to have fun! But if your ten, you probably wouldn't enjoy it. Well Thank You for reading at THE ASIAN SQUAD!

Thanksgiving Day Parade

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! This special blog post is about the Macy's Day Parade. It occurs in NYC every Thanksgiving where you can see fabulous performers, floats and large balloons! But you really don't know how hard everyone works for this special preparation. The marching band walks two and a half miles, while playing their instruments. The different balloons are made out of Styrofoam and is carved by hand. Making all the balloons takes a year round effort. Then, the carved Styrofoam is coated by a product called hardcoat, which is a flame retarded plastic which creates a hard shell. But before they made the real copies, the creators of the balloons made a clay model of the character that would appear in the Macy's Day Parade. And then, after the model, they would have to create the larger versions. They used cloth for the balloons and then painted them to match the character. That is not all for the amazing Thanksgiving Parade. There are a lot of musicals and performers such as the Rockettes that have to do practice after practice to get perfection when it's time for them to perform. The amount of work that is put into the Thanksgiving Parade is immense! Are you ready?
3..., 2..., 1..., LET'S HAVE A PARADE!

The 3dsXL

You have seen many kinds of Nintendo Ds's from the past years. They have thought of everything from gameboy game inserts, a camera and then apps. Now, enjoy your favorite games in 3D! Not only in regular size, but in XL form!
Here are some reasons it is way better than the 3Ds:

1. Longer battery life

2. Buttons and Circle Pad are bigger and thicker

3. New Displays Cut Glare Significantly

4. Larger Displays Mean Better 3D

Okay, time for price. The listing price is about $200.00. It has a pretty good market value. This is the price for only the DS, not the games. It is $30.00 over the 3DS. I would personally spend that $30.00 because for longer game time, bigger screens, more updates and better buttons. So if you are interested, don't wait any longer, get your new 3DSXL today! ( It is also a good Christmas gift )

The Awsome Ps3

Welcome back to The Asian Squad! This month is all about gaming devices. To all my readers, I would like to apologize since I have not been blogging because of terrible Hurricane Sandy for probably a week. So this blog post is all about the Ps3. A ps3 has programs such as apps where you can download many demo's or games. You also have netflix and a place where you could put your pictures or videos from your camera! In addition, they put a cool app called Playstation Life (if I am correct) where you could design you own character and play around with it just like your own life.
Okay, let's talk price. It is currently listed at $200.00 to about $220.00 in Gamestop including tax. It is also in Walkmart for about $250.00 including tax. In some other places you could get them for about 350.00 so.. If you would like a cheaper one, go ahead and get a slightly used one for a good amount of money. It seems Sony isn't yet able to bring down the price of the PS3.

Mw3 Map of the Day- Village

My absolute most favorite map... the Village! This map is my favorite because it is user friendly for new users and different gun users. To shotguns to sniper rifles, this map is absolutely perfect for all gun types. It's very spacious and tight at some point. As you can see from the video, there are many camping spots that you could go to.

This video shows how cool and easy this map is. As you could see, there are many spaces to go to. This video will help you by telling you where the good spots are to camp and to stay to get the most kills. Heartbeat sensor is used in this video and it is highly recommended that you use it and silencer too make your gun firing unnoticed on the map. I find that the spot that this person used and stayed in is the best spot in this map if you would like to get many kills.

Camping - Camping in Modern Warfare 3 is when you stay hidden in one spot in the entire game. Like in this video, he tries to stay in that particular spot and ends up having multiple kills.
My definition would be the people who sit in corners (and not just to regenerate health for 3 seconds). People who generally just don't move around much (inside or outside of buildings) Whether it be laying in prone, crouching or standing.
If your in the same spot for more than 10 to 11 seconds then your camping in my opinion.

Prone - Prone means laying down.
