Pokemon Of The Day!

Pikachu

The Pokemon of the day is Pikachu. It's a Electric type and is known to be the main Pokemon in the storyline (The T.V. Show). But is it really "All That" or the "Strongest Pokemon Ever"? Well that's where my blog come into play.

Pikachu can be found in all of the regions except for Unova. First of all, Pikachu is fast... even better than Snivy (read last Pokemon of the Day post)! But it lacks everything else! It is defenseless, can't attack well and has low HP (a.k.a. life)! And the worst part about it is that you have to wait for the moves you want to make Pikachu learn before you evolve it using a thunderstone! It is only because a pokemon cannot learn a move if it already evolved by a stone.

At the end of the day, I have to rate this bundle of yellowness 1 and a half stars because of it's lack of everything but speed. It's movepool is very narrow because it can only learn electric moves, normal moves and other weak moves... It may be cute, but avoid it. You can use it at the beginning just to try to whip out the other Pokemon using its speed but definitely do not use it throughout the whole game. What do you think? Comment:
